As I promised, I am going to put my first recipe today which calls Hulk land. Why Hulk? Because it is all green, tonic and nourishing. It is a good hack for your children to give them vegies. I am going to change a boring and cheap dish to a delicious and even fancy look one.
Preparation time: 5 minutes , Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients (for 2 persons):
1- Broccoli (or any vegies like cauliflower, asparagus, green beans, …)4 cups
2- Egg 2
3-Bread Crumbs 1 cup
4- Flour 2 tablespoon
5- Italian seasoning and Grill vegetables seasoning 1 teaspoon each (add or replace any of your favorite seasonings or spices)
6- Paprika 1 teaspoon
8- Water 2 litters
9- oil 4 tablespoons
Bring the water in a pot to biol. Add some salt in the water and add the broccolis in the boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. The crucial key for this dish: do not overcook the broccoli. It should be tender. Then drain the broccoli
Mix Bread Crumbs, Flour, seasonings and your favorite spices in a bowl. Mix Eggs, Paprika and salt in another bowl. Simply, dip the broccoli in the egg mix and then roll it in the flour mix.
I made 2 versions of crunchy and low carb one. If you follow low carb diets like keto, you can skip the flour mix.
Now for the final step, preheat a frying pan and add the oil. Fry the broccoli and voila, you are done.
You can serve it with rice, toasted bread or salad.
